One of the wine blogs I read mentions our fine state legislature.

The TABC should be abolished, and every law relating to adults and the manufacture, selling, transportation, etc. of alcohol should be repealed. No power, no corruption.

Wholesalers have every right to participate in the political process, be it by lobbying, giving campaign contributions or trying to influence the public. I would never suggest they don't have this right.I've actually been the holder, in the past, of a TABC license and I'm here to tell you: The system is rigged against the little guy.
