Houston MLS Naming Contest
Is there really going to be a naming contest? Or is this just one possible shield they've designed? Or is this an Internet hoax?
It looks pretty elaborate for a hoax. I'm hoping that this is one design they've worked on in case Houston Republic FC wins.

yeah about the team name...whats with the 1836ers? the whole number for a name crap is last weeks news. how bout the houston hurricanes??? it has a nice ring and after all weve had like 30 of them in the gulf in the past 2 years.
o and i almost forgot. the train logos lame, and its not a "football club"(FC), its a soccer club... we r yanks not chaps.
It's not "the 1836ers," it's Houston 1836.
