After a long hiatus, I've spent much of the past day reading the "papers" and the blogs. The hospital's Internet thing is good for reading, bad for blogging. No mouse, onscreen keyboard, no cut and paste. So, no links for these impressions. You'll have to guess what I'm refering to. That's a new rule, when I tear my Achilles tendon, I get to blog without links. Nyah.

Every American gets to have an opinion about matters of war and peace, whether or not they served in the military. That's what the folks in the military are defending. Everyone also gets to have an opinion about other people's opinions.

If I never specifically blog against someone being a jerk, like a guy running over crosses, that doesn't mean I condone the act. Time is tight, so I'll go on record here as being opposed to people being jerks.

This country would be a much better place if politics were not regarded as a team sport, but a matter of principle.

There are many right-wing and left-wing jerks writing stuff that ends up on the Internet. Too many people who like to argue as a way to vent aggression at other stuff. Maybe we could get a separate Internet for them...
