The Night Hawk sauce thickens
Jimmay! (Note the Jimmay! web site is being developed.) (Love the blog name!) brings up the steak sauce packet included in the Night Hawk dinner in his comments to this post. It is still there. It's a packet labeled "Steak Sauce," which seems a bit of a stretch to me. It's butter. Don't get me wrong, I don't care so much if it's a stretch or not. It's butter on steak. Mmmmm. Butter on steak. Oh-oh-oh.
Sorry, back to reality. These are my kind of people.
Anyway, a bit of Googling and I discover this drivel:
The mystery is why the "steak sauce packet" is included in most items. I've never consumed one; I've never seen one consumed; I've never met anybody who will admit to having seen one eaten, let alone admit to having personally downed one.I thought that had to be the work of smelly hippie communist atheists who probably frighten children and spit on the flag. This was confirmed when I noticed that they were from Austin.
Fortunately, my faith in humanity was redeemed when I found this site.
This baby comes with special steak sauce that just makes the whole entree better than anything I have found in the frozen food section!Proper God-fearing people over there. I have to agree, Night Hawk is the best frozen food, hands down. If you can't purchase them in your local area, move.
So, Jimmay! and Matt taunted me with wineblogging on a Night Hawk dinner pairing. Fortunately for my dear readers, I am willing and able, in the interests of science, to conduct some research this weekend into what beverage pairs well with a Night Hawk frozen dinner. I'm thinking perhaps a nice burgundy, or maybe a Miller High Life tallboy. If you're a proper right-thinking American, you're wondering, "how can I repay Rob for all he does for us?"
Buy me something from this list.
I'm enjoying this break from politics. It's letting me concentrate on the important things. Here's to good friends, tonight is kind of special....
